The Specac ProCell™ Cascade liquid phase process cell is a rugged transmission mode cell ideally suited for optical sampling of industrial fluids. The ProCell Cascade series is designed to be pipe-mounted into the sample analysis part of the process steam or in a by-pass.

ProCell Typoon Gas/Vapour Phase Process Flow Cell

The Specac ProCell™ Typhoon is a rugged pipe-mounted spectroscopic transmission cell for gas phase process monitoring in the UV/Vis or NIRregion. The ProCell Typhoon is typically fitted into the process stream or in a by-pass using Swagelok connectors.

Sapphire windows give outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance, in addition to the ability to withstand severe thermal shock (e.g. high pressure steam cleaning).

Mini Probe

Mini Probe

The Specac Mini Probe is a high performance probe that allows remote process monitoring and control. The Mini Probe can be specified in a range of materials and sizes.

Key features

  • Designed for operation in the NIR spectral region with optical pathlengths in the range of 1 to 10mm
  • Sapphire windows sealed by means of a Gold / Nickel diffusion bond ensure excellent chemical and mechanical resistance
  • Body material can be selected to suit application with Stainless Steel 316L or Hastelloy C276 commonly used
  • Probe Length (immersion length) in the range of 100 to 500mm
  • Capable for operation at temperatures up to 250°C and at pressures from vacuum up to 1500 psi.
  • Compatibility to the user's instrument is ensured with a choice of fibre connector types (SMA and FC) as well as fibre type (single or multimode)
  • The wide choice of probe lengths allows the probes to be mounted in a range of locations without excessive probe body protrusion from the vessel or pipe
  • The Mini Probe can be supplied with an armoured fiber optic cable which ensures that any stresses from the weight of the cable are not transmitted to the optical fiber connection interface.
